What is your Dance story ?
Since very young I was passionate about dance. I was born in Portugal 🇵🇹 but I have family from Venezuela, so I always had the influence of latin music. At the age of 15 I started having salsa classes and I Ioved it so much that I knew I could build a career with that. After all I have been discovering the world of Afro-Caribbean dances by learning from some of the best teachers worlwide and attending to many international events so I could grow as a professional and eventually become a teacher.
Describe your class to give your students a sense of what to expect.
You can find my classes always fun, intense and technical. I believe dance is a great tool to connect people and exercise our bodies.
How do you motivate dancers to push themselves?
Make every obstacle a challenge, then it becomes fun.
